All our customers agree that this is the nicest thrift shop! St. Elsie's Closet is designed to resemble a boutique. It is well organized and restocked on a weekly baisis. We offer clothing and accessories for women, men, young adults, children and infants. Plus and petite sizes as well. We also offer a large house wares section. We offer great bargains and offer sales once a month. Please come and see what everyone is so excited about!
To donate, call the office at 908-879-7208 or email us. Donations are also accepted during hours of operation. We accept gently used seasonal clothing and accessories and household items.
PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
Toys, Games, puzzles,baby items:
car seats, booster seats, strollers, etc. Medical supplies including handicap items,
(check with local nursing homes to donate). No large furniture, VCR or cassette tapes. No miss-matched or single drinking glasses. No books older than one year old. If your books are older than one-year old, please drop
them in the book bin out front. We do not accept anything broken or so worn it cannot be sold. No old towels or bedding (these can be donated to your local dog shelter). No luggage. And no used underwear or socks. No clothes hangers.
We are located in the lower level of the building, at the back. Park in front of the lower building and follow the path on the left
towards the back yard. Or, park around back in the upper parking lot
and follow the path to the right of the building down the hill to the
yard. The thrift shop entrance will be in the left hand corner. We are handicapped accessible.
